Beginning Rug Hooking
by Lizette Fife

Create a hooked wool sampler with Lizette Fife in a one day class using recycled wool fabric and primitive rug hooking techniques. Students will learn how to make a hooked rug from its initial design to its final creation on a 4" embroidery hoop. All materials will be supplied for the sampler by the instructor. Lizette will show examples of her own work, teach basic design principles, and guide each student as they make their own rug sampler

Minors 12 & older welcome.

1 day course

Lizette Fife is an Idaho Commission on the Arts Teaching Artist and has a Masters of Architecture w/ Minor in Art & Interior Design from the University of Idaho as well as a Bachelors of Environmental Design from Texas A & M University.
