Whitewater Kayaking:
An Introduction
by Mike Beiser & the
UI Outdoor Program Staff
Learn the basic skills of kayaking at the University of
Idaho swim center. This clinic has been created as an
instructional pool session to give you more time with an
instructor in your own kayak for the evening. Basic skills
in boat fitting, wet exit, paddle movements, and the Eskimo
roll will be introduced. Trip options are available by
contacting the UI Outdoor Program.
Minors 12
& older welcome with an adult.
1 day course
Mike Beiser and the UI Outdoor Program staff are
experienced instructors who enjoy sharing their love of
whitewater kayaking.
