Non-credit Class Descriptions

 

Wall Climbing
by Mark Teater

Students will learn basic climbing skills including: climbing techniques, belaying, bouldering, knot tying, and general climbing information. Students will be allowed free time for climbing at the end of the class.

Transportation by LCSC van.  Minors 12 & up welcome; No experience necessary, no equipment needed; to maximize your time, you may consider enrolling in the class with a partner, although a partner is not required.


1 day course

 

Mark Teater is currently the Coordinator for the University of Idaho Outdoor Program. Mark has taught basic rock climbing and has been instrumental in developing and carrying out climbing programs at the university.
