FREE Summer Lecture Series

19th & 20th Century Lewiston

from the Speakers Bureau at LCSC
Lewiston’s history,
spanning from Lewis and Clark’s visits in the early 1800’s
to modern times, will be presented. Topics will include
transportation, economics, education, tourism and community
events.
Dick Riggs,
born and raised in
Lewiston, received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from
the University of Idaho. He has 34 years of experience as a
teacher, principal and superintendent in area schools
including Asotin, Anatone, Craigmont and Lewiston. Dick has
served as President of the Nez Perce County Historical
Society since 1996 and has written many articles on Idaho's
past.
