Summer Sky Observing . . . with
Your Telescope

This short, astronomy observing class will
teach you the summer constellations, how to read star maps,
and how to find the famous clusters, nebulae, and galaxies
with your own binoculars or small telescope. Bring your
binoculars and/or telescope to class.
3 day course
Victor Kriss has an M.S. in
Astronomy from Michigan State University and a Ph.D. in
Physics with Astronomy as a secondary field from New Mexico
State University. He taught the standard astronomy course
for four years at the University of San Diego and, now, for
fifteen years at Lewis-Clark State College. He is the 82nd
amateur astronomer to find all the Messier Objects on the
Astronomical League’s Honorary Messier Club list.
