About CECE

Continuing Education & Community Events (CECE) is dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals through distinctive service and exceptional programs. CECE is a department of LCSC Community Programs. We offer accessible lifelong learning courses year-round with a variety of delivery methods. Our courses are available throughout the LC Valley, at outreach locations in Orofino and Grangeville, and even completely online through ed2go. Courses range in subject and include topics in art, technology, dance, personal finances, health, and educational tours of the surrounding areas. Some courses qualify for continuing education units. Other educational opportunities we provide include the Silverthorne Artist's Series and Road Scholar programs.

CECE is also the coordinating department for popular LC Valley events Dogwood Festival of the Lewis-Clark Valley, Art Under the Elms, and the Dogwood Show & Shine.

Our office is located in the heart of beautiful downtown Lewiston on the second floor of the historic
Center for Arts & History building at 415 Main Street. We encourage visitors during our hours of operation, 8am-5pm Monday through Friday. We can also be reached by phone at 208-792-2447 or by email at cece@lcsc.edu.
