Poetry with Pizzazz
Taught by Jennifer Pelletier at LCSC
Have fun with words and let your imagination soar as you
explore the world of poetry. You will discover the power of
language and how those words capture and express your
personality. You will create your own personal poetry
journal in which to collect your poems. Some of the poetry
forms that will be studied in class are Haiku, Tanka,
Cinquain, Quatrain, Bio-Poems, Poems for 2 voices, Sausage
Poems, Tongue Twisters and more!
Jennifer
received her Elementary Education degree from Lewis-Clark
State College and spent 5 years substitute teaching in
Lewiston and in Colorado teaching a variety of subjects and
grades. For six years she taught Language Arts for 6th-8th
grades at Cornerstone Christian School. She loves kids and
loves teaching.
