The Center for New Directions helps individuals in transition to become personally and economically self-sufficient. We provide personal educational and career counseling to help individuals recognize their abilities and interests, set goals, time management, solve problems, and find a positive life direction. 

This may include choosing a career, entering technical education, pursuing an academic degree, updating skills, pre-college assessments, applying for financial aid, finding a job, and ultimately becoming self-sufficient. We offer individual sessions for single parents, homemakers, displaced homemakers, displaced workers, nontraditional workers, professional/technical students, and others who are in transition (up to six sessions free). Both students and community members are encouraged to participate in the Center's programs!
