Student Services Shared with North Idaho College

Lewis-Clark State College works closely with North Idaho College and their faculty and staff to bring the most positive student experience to all those who participate in the transfer process.  With this collaboration we are able to bring students more services for their convienence than ever before.

Disability Support Services

o    NIC will help students facilitate accommodations to help ensure their success through their Disability Student Services department.  It is the student's responsibility to contact them as early as possible so accommodation can be made way before the first test or lecture for the class.

      Call 208.769.5947 or visit their office in Seiter Hall, Room 100 to make an appointment.  Students can also find applications at their front office.  



Testing Center

o    Students who would like to use the testing center at NIC must contact the Testing Center to schedule procotored exams. Scheduling and contact information can be found here.

Writing Center

The Writing Center at NIC is located in the middle of campus behind the Lee-Kildow Hall.  It is available to LCSC-CDA students for support on various writing assignments.

Library Services

The North Idaho College Library allows LCSC-CDA students to check out their books through the Molstead Library.  

LCSC students will need a student ID in order to check books out.

LC student IDs can be done here at the center's front office at any time.

Career Services

Career counseling is available to any LCSC student through the Career Services Center at NIC.  They help provide counseling services and career resources while students move forward in their education goals.

American Indian Student Alliance

The American Indian Services program will provide advising, tribal support and cultural resources to all those who seek support through positive relationships with students and their peers.

Evanlene Melting Tallow is the advisor for this program at NIC and can be reached by phone, 208.769.3365, or in her office located in the Edminster Student Union Building, lower level, room 003a.  



Veteran and Military Family Services

Lewis Clark State students can be a part of the NIC Veteran's Club, as well as take advantage of the NIC Veteran Resource Center.

Food Pantry

The North Idaho College Food Pantry is a safe and welcoming placed designed to meet the needs of studnets who are facing food scarcity.

Hours: 9 a.m.-Noon, Thursday, or by appointment

They provide access to a student health facility and basic health screening for $25/semester*.

Student Wellness and Recreation Center

NIC's Wellness and Recreation Center is available for LCSC-CDA students to use for a monthly fee of $30.

Hours: Monday-Thursday: 6 a.m.-10 p.m., Friday: 6 a.m.-8 p.m., Saturday and Sunday: 10 a.m.- 8 p.m.
