In Focus Juried Photography
Exhibition
Announces Awards
The seventh annual In Focus Juried Photography Exhibition is
being held at the Lewis-Clark Center for Arts & History, 415 Main Street in
Lewiston through June 15. The show features 26 artists in an open medium
show of photography.
Selection of the awards for the In Focus Juried Photography Exhibition was
completed for the annual show. Best of Show was awarded to Gay Waldman of
Spokane, WA for Jester Leaves. Four Judge’s Award were selected and included
ribbons for Jeffrey M. Matthews of Lewiston, ID for Remembering Ansel,
Catherine Stone of Orinda, CA for Scrutiny, Dana Montlack of San Diego, CA
for dp-9, and Myron Brenton of New York, NY for India Scene.
Visitors to the exhibit are invited to vote for their favorite photograph
from now until June 15. The ballots are tallied at the end of the show and a
ribbon award is presented to the artist for the "People's Choice" award.
The In Focus Juried Photography Exhibition is made possible, in part,
through gifts from the Idaho Commission on the Arts and US Bank. The exhibit
is scheduled at the Center for Arts & History, 415 Main, through June 16 and
gallery hours are 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday – Friday and Saturdays 10:00 AM
