Astronomical Society
Meets on Campus The Lewiston Astronomical Society will hold its monthly meeting on Saturday, October 6th, at 7:00 p.m. The group will meet in room B-10 of Meriwether Lewis Hall, on the Lewis-Clark State College campus. The public is invited to attend. The feature presentation will be on taking astronomical photographs with a standard camera strapped to the top of a telescope. An actual "piggy-back" mounted camera on a telescope will be demonstrated and some of the constellation slides taken will be shown. There will also be discussion of fall constellations and the best fall viewing opportunities with binoculars. For more information, contact Victor Kriss at 208/792-2344. |
