Literature and Languages Division Hosts Campus-Wide Forum: The War on Terrorism

In the wake of the September 11th terrorist attacks on the United States, LCSC's Division of Literature and Languages is sponsoring a forum on terrorism and the national response. The forum is scheduled for Monday, October 1, from noon to 2:00 p.m., in the Williams Conference Center.

The forum is intended to promote discussion on terrorism, the U.S. proposed response and whether a military response is the best long-term solution. Consideration of what information is needed to support a response, and ways the community can become involved is also a topic.

The forum will include an open microphone session, with a two-minute time limit. Faculty, students and the public are invited to attend. For more information, contact Dr. James Tarter at LCSC, at 208-792-2864 ( jjtarter@lcsc.edu).
