Gaelic Storm tickets are on sale
Tickets are now on sale for Ireland’s Grammy award-winning band Gaelic Storm, who will perform at the 22nd annual Dogwood Festival on April 27 at 8 p.m. at the Lewis-Clark State College Activity Center.
The band has performed for more than 10 years and been featured on ESPN’s Cold Pizza, at the House of Blues in Chicago, and was the steerage band in the movie “Titanic.”
Gaelic Storm continues to broaden the musical horizons of the Celtic music genre by creating compelling originals and fresh arrangements steeped in Irish traditional melody and acoustic instrumentation combined with its unique blend of rhythms. The band's latest album “Bring Yer Wellies” debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard World Chart, No. 16 on the Internet Sales Chart and No. 31 on the Independent Album Chart. The new CD captures the contagious energy of Gaelic Storm's renowned live performances, channeling the rowdy communal feel of an Irish pub on raucous sing-alongs, driving pipe sets, and spirited fiddle tunes.
Tickets for the concert are now on sale through TicketsWest and can be purchased online at www.ticketswest.com, by phone at 800-325-SEAT, and at the LCSC Activity Center (208-792-2471). General admission seats in the stands are $20 through April 26, and $25 on April 27; General Admission seats on the floor are $30 through April 26, and $35 on April 27.
