LCSC Alumni Association is accepting nominations for awards

The Lewis-Clark State College Alumni Association Board of Directors is accepting nominations for its yearly awards, including the Outstanding Alumni, Young Alumni, Excellence in Education, and Aletha Pabst awards.

Nominations should include information about the person who embraces the core values of passionate, energetic leadership, and a continuing advocacy of community building.

The Outstanding Alumni Award is presented to the alum that has enriched the lives of others through generous gifts of time and talent, their involvement with civic, charitable, and social causes, and an ability to inspire.

The Young Alumni Awards recognizes significant contributions by an individual, whether through professional achievement or community service. The recipient must be age 40 or younger, and sets an inspirational example for future young alumni.

The Aletha Pabst Award pays tribute to someone who is not an LCSC alum, but who has made significant contributions to the college.

The Excellence in Education Award recognizes superior achievement in the field of education. The recipient serves as a role model and sets standards of excellence to which others can aspire.

The deadline for nominations is April 20. Nominations can be made online at http://www.lcsc.edu/alumni/alumni-programs-05/nomination-form.htm; e-mailed to rmolsen@lcsc.edu; or by calling the LCSC Alumni Relations Office at (208) 792-2458.
