Annual Confluence Grape & Grain will be April 20
The 17th annual Confluence Grape & Grain, a beer and wine tasting fundraising event for the Lewis-Clark State College Center for Arts & History, will be held April 20 at 6-9 p.m. at the Center, located at 415 Main St. in Lewiston. Tickets for the event are $20 per person in advance or $25 at the door, which includes a souvenir wine glass or mixer. Ticket holders must be at least 21 years of age to participate. Tickets are good for seven tastes of Pacific Northwest beers or wines. Light snacks and coffee also will be available, and dress is casual. During the evening, there will be live music, a silent auction featuring artwork from Pacific Northwest artists such as Sarah Swett, Jill Hosmer, Eileen Klatt, and more. The beer list for the evening includes Deschutes Buzz Saw Brown Ale, Alaskan Summer Ale, Boundary Bay IPA, Blue Moon Belgium White, and seasonal ales from New Belgium and Pyramid brewing companies. The wine list has 14 Hands Merlot, Snoqualmie Chardonnay, Silver Lake Roza Riesling, Red Diamond Shiraz, Desert Wind Meritage Ruah, Maryhill Pinot Gris, Columbia Crest Ground Estates Cabernet Sauvignon, and Silvan Ridge Early Muscat Semi-Sparking. Other beer and wines may be available. Basalt Cellars of Clarkston is a featured winery at this event and will have samples of wine available. Tickets can be purchased at the Center for Arts & History Center Pieces Gift Shop, the LCSC Community Programs Office, Owl Southway, and Owl Tri-State Pharmacies, and at the Wine Company of Moscow. Table sponsorships are available for $250 per table. Proceeds will directly support the Center in its mission to provide arts and history programming and special events to the area throughout the year.
