LCSC announces Kids’ College summer schedule
The Lewis-Clark State College Continuing Education & Community Events’ Kids’ College kicks off this year on June 11 and features more than 50 week-long classes in a variety of subjects for children who are completing grades 1-6 this spring.
There are four sessions of Kids’ College, the first running June 11-15. The other sessions are July 9-13 and 23-27, and Aug. 6-10.
A complete class list and online registration is available on the web at http://www.lcsc.edu/ce/kidscollege.htm, and class catalogs will be available in June and local grocery stores and libraries.
Most classes go for five days and costs $45, but there are some exceptions. Financial aid also is available.
The classes include Arts, Crafts & Hobbies, Computers & Robotics, Culture & Language, Dance, Music, Recreation, Science & Math, Theatre, and Time Travel & History. Lunch time supervision is also available.
Learning opportunities include Cake Decorating by Odetta Church of Costco, Tools of Forensic Science by Emily McEachern, and Marimba Magic by Jacqueline Fallon.
