LCSC friends and alumns to perform variety show
A dance and musical variety show, “An Above Average Summer Revue” will be presented by friends and alumni of Lewis-Clark State College starting on June 22 at the LCSC Silverthorne Theatre to benefit the LCSC Investiture Fund.
The “An Above Average Summer Revue” title is playfully borrowed from Garrison Keillor’s Lake Wobegon, “where all the women are strong, all the men are good-looking, and all the children are above average.”
The revue is a lighthearted evening of music and dance. Proceeds will benefit the LCSC Investiture Fund, which was established by friends and family of Dene Kay Thomas in celebration of her investiture as President at Lewis-Clark State College. The scholarship supports a full-time, nontraditional female student.
Evening shows are June 22, 23, 28, and 29 at 8 p.m., and there will be matinees on June 24 and July 1, both at 2 p.m. Tickets are available at the door for $5 and include a chance to win a door prize. Door prizes have been donated by local merchants and include all kinds of services and gifts.
