LCSC installs emergency phone near Fine Arts Building
Physical Plant and Doug Combs have just completed installing the new emergency phone located on the south side of the Fine Art Building. It is easy to find with the bright, blue light on top of it that shines 24/7.
When the button is pushed it will ring directly to the Security officer’s phone. When the phone rings it will identify where the call is coming from and then the person will be able to speak directly to the officer.
The campus has various emergency phones on campus that are site specific, like the elevator phones or the phones located by the residence hall doors. This is the first phone installed in the center of campus.
After the button has been pressed the blue light will flash which will also draw attention to the person in need of assistance.
