Web server clean up is slated for late October
LCSC personnel are asked to help with the college's main Web Server cleanup, which is slated for late October.
There are several old class courses that haven't been used in at least three years that are taking up space on our Web server. Space is becoming an issue with the Web Server and these old class courses, which are no longer being offered/used, need to be eliminated.
The college's Web office will be archiving and removing webs sites not updated since Nov. 2005 to free up space on the web server. Personal webs sites will be removed if the page owner is no longer an employee.
Please let Karla McCann know by e-mail, by October 22, if you have a course related web site that you want to keep. We can either provide you with a back-up or discuss other options.
This will NOT affect WEBCT/Blackboard courses. Also, pages that have been archived, including athletics, will not be eliminated.
