CdA crew braves elements for early morning festivities

Rocky Owens and Kelly Vanderlinden were among the brave members of Lewis-Clark State College-Coeur d'Alene who were up at the wee hours of Wednesday morning, hoping to get on national television.

ABC's Good Morning American featured the Coeur d'Alene Resort Light show and fireworks during its Wednesday morning broadcast.

The LCSC team, along with members of the Ambassadors Honors society joined the crowd at 3 a.m. in downtown Coeur d'Alene to take part in the festivities.

Wearing their LC sweatshirts and carrying a huge banner, the LC-Cd'A crew braved the 20-something degree weather proudly displaying their school spirit.

Did they get their five minutes of fame? We are still awaiting feedback but we know for sure that they were spotted on the local KXLY weather update at 5:55am. Go Warriors! (Send hot chocolate!)
