Gift certificates for personal enrichment classes are available
For those shoppers still looking for the perfect gift for the holiday season or just for a gift in general, the Lewis-Clark State College Continuing Education & Community Events office has gift certificates available for non-credit personal enrichment classes.
Gift certificate recipients can select from more than 80 personal enrichment classes offered in a variety of subjects, including arts & crafts, computers, cooking, dance & music, day trips & recreation, family & life, finance, health & fitness, home & garden, language & culture, personal focus, and photography.
Among the classes that will start soon is Fly Tying for the Beginner by Mark Lamb. The four-day course begins Jan. 10 and costs $42 + supplies. Participants will learn to tie 8 different types of flies including nymphs, dry, wet, and streamer flies. Ages 14 & up are welcome.
Also coming is a Latin Dance Sampler by Julie Strobel-Richardson. The four-day class begins Jan. 11 and costs $29. No partner required and students will explore the Rumba, Merengue, and more. Ages 13 & up are welcome.
