Public input sought for grant application
Lewis-Clark State College’s office of Continuing Education & Community Events, in partnership with the College’s Kinesiology Department, is applying for a grant from the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation.
If awarded, grant funds will be used for the purchase of snowshoe and cross-country ski equipment, including an adaptive ski for use by people with physical disabilities. This equipment would be used for credit and non-credit, continuing education classes and will be available to local law enforcement and Search & Rescue personnel for emergency purposes.
