Nominations open for women's leadership awards
The 2008 Women’s Leadership Conference Committee is accepting nominations for an outstanding Inland Northwest woman to be recognized through one of five Woman of Leadership Awards, which will be presented during the 10th annual Women’s Leadership Conference of the Inland Northwest on March 12 at the Spokane Community College Lair.
Nominations for the awards are due Friday, Feb. 15, at 5 p.m.
The award categories are for student, faculty member, community volunteer, business professional, and academic staff/administrator. The criteria includes how has this person shown she is a dedicated leader who has earned the admiration and respect through her connections, how does this person show she has vision and brings other along by way of collaboration, how has this person faced life’s challenges with grace and courage, and how does this person live with dignity, integrity, and honor through her commitments?
