Presentation on Lincoln will be Thursday
Lewiston City Councilor Garry Bush will give a presentation on "Idaho Territory: Murder, Intrigue, and Abraham Lincoln" on Thursday, July 10, at 7-8 p.m. in room 100 of Meriwether-Lewis Hall on the Lewis-Clark State College campus.
The presentation is free and open to the public. The presentation is one of six free Summer Lecture Series sponsored by LCSC Continuing Education and Community Events.
Other noted speakers will present on varied topics, which include "Stories from the Canyon," by Carole Simon-Smolinski on July 24; "The Role of Women’s Clubs in Establishing Idaho’s Carnegie Public Libraries" (with a Lewiston focus), by Susan Swetnam on Aug. 7; and "Hiking Idaho’s Historic Trails," by Roger Williams on Aug. 21.
All three lectures begin at 7 p.m. with Simon-Smolinski's presentation also at Meriwether-Lewis Hall room 100, while the other two presentations will be held at the LCSC Student Union Building Amphitheater, located outside on the east end of the SUB.
