Online creating web page class begins Sept. 17

LCSC Continuing Education & Community Events (CECE) offers Creating Web Pages as part of its Online Non-Credit Lifelong Learning & Personal Enrichment Course catalog.

The 12-lesson, 6-week course beings on Sept. 17 and costs $79 and will help learn the basics of HTML so you can design, create and post your very own site on the web.

A same course will be offered again starting on Oct. 15.

Creating Web Pages will lead you in learning about the capabilities of the World Wide Web and the fundamentals of web design. Then, with your instructor's patient guidance, you'll plan the content, structure and layout of your Web site, create pages full of neatly formatted text, build links between the pages and to the outside world, and add color, backgrounds, graphics, tables, hot buttons, and animation. You'll also learn critical and timely information on securing the best possible location in search engine listings, and powerful no-cost or low-cost web marketing strategies.

CECE offers over 300 Online Non-Credit classes in a variety of subjects covering Computer Applications, Language, Art, History, Writing, Parenting, and Personal Development. Complete Online Non-Credit course listings are available on the web at www.lcsc.edu/ce.
