Volleyball team kicks off the season with home tourney
The Lewis-Clark State College women's volleyball team will kick off its season Friday and Saturday in the five-team Comfort Inn Invitational at the LCSC Activity Center.
The round-robin tournament features Northwest University, College of Idaho, the University of Great Falls, and Concordia-Irvine.
Action begins at 10 a.m. on Friday with Northwest University and LCSC squaring off.
The remainder of Friday's schedule has:
Noon - Concordia-Irvine vs. College of Idaho
2 p.m. - Northwest vs. Great Falls
5 p.m. - Great Falls vs. Concordia-Irvine
7 p.m. - LCSC vs. College of Idaho
Saturday’s schedule consists of:
10 a.m. - College of Idaho vs. Northwest
Noon - LCSC vs. Great Falls
2 p.m. - Northwest vs. Concordia-Irvine
4 p.m. - Great Falls vs. College of Idaho
7 p.m. - LCSC vs. Concordia-Irvine
Also on Friday, there will be a barbecue at 5:30-7 p.m. in the upstairs conference room and patio of the Activity Center. The barbecue is sponsored by the Warrior Athletic Association and is open to all. Cost of the hamburger/hot dog barbecue is $5.
Season tickets for volleyball, which include nine regular season matches and the tournament, are $25 per individual, $20 for seniors and $50 for family (2 adults and 2 children). Individual day prices are $7 for individuals, $5 for seniors and non-LCSC students, and 5-and-under are free. All-sport passes, which are for all regular season home athletic events in the school year are $100 for individual, $75 for senior and $175 for family.
