Second phase of 4th Street parking project to begin soon

The second phase of the 4th Street parking project next to the Lewis-Clark State College campus will begin soon and there will be some traffic changes around the campus during this time.

Traffic signs will soon be posted for traffic control as LCSC converts some space to parking on 4th Street between 7th and 8th Avenue and between 10th and 11th Avenue. Also, MCall's Classic Construction out of Lewiston will create a storm water runoff and detention system from the corner of 10th Avenue and 6th Street south to 11th Avenue and west along 11th Avenue to 4th Street.

During the next three months, there will be streets and parking lots blocked as the project takes place. . Access to College Place resident parking, LCSC KinderCollege for drop off an pick up, deliveries to the LCSC Bookstore, and deliveries to the kitchen in the Student Union Building will be maintained throughout the project.

Copies of the entire project plan are available for review at the LCSC Physical Plant, LCSC Administrative Services in room 106 of the Administration Building and from Campus Security in room 110 of Meriwether-Lewis Hall.

The scheduled completion date for the project is Nov. 25.
