ServiceFest is today; Blood Drive is Friday
The Lewis-Clark State College Service-Learning Volunteer Center is inviting the public to participate in two events on Sept. 3 and 4.
ServiceFest 2009, an event to help the public connect with and learn more about local non-profit and human service organizations, will be held at 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Sept. 3 in the center of the LCSC campus. The event allows organizations to set up tables and visit with interested persons about the purpose of the organization and how individuals can become involved.
On Sept. 4, the Inland Northwest Blood Center will have a blood drive on the LCSC campus at noon-4:30 p.m. Registration will take place inside the LCSC Student Union Building and donations will be made in the Blood Center bus parked outside the SUB. The blood drive is open to both the campus and community.
