Visiting Writing Series will have reading on Friday

The Lewis-Clark State College Visiting Writing Series will have an open reading of the anthology "Borne on Air: Essays by Idaho Writers" on Friday, Sept. 25, at 7 p.m. at the LCSC Amphitheater, located outside of the Student Union Building.

"Borne on Air: Essays by Idaho Writers" was edited by Mary Clearman Blew and Phil Druker and is the third in a series of essays by Idaho writers. Many of the essays and one poem in the volume are set in Idaho.

Writers published in the volume include Kim Barnes, Claire Davis, William Johnson, Buddy Levy, Joy Passanante, William Studebaker, and Robert Wrigley. Barnes and Druker will be among the readers during Friday’s event as will Denice Turner and Anne Caylor MacAlpin.

The event is free and open to the public.
