LCSC Jazz Band to perform on April 26
The Lewis-Clark State College Jazz Band is performing a free concert open to the public at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, April 26 at Lewiston High School. Performing traditional and contemporary big band jazz, the band will Feature vocalist Kathleen Gemberling and music by Stan Kenton, John Clayton, and Gil Evans.
Directed by Bill Perconti, and comprising both student and community membership, the LCSC Jazz Band is a multiple winner of Adjudicator's Choice Awards and Outstanding Band Awards at the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival.
