BSU's Brady to discuss Korean War tonight

Lisa Brady, an associate professor of History at Boise State University, will examine the Korean War and its aftermath from an environmental and historical perspective on Monday, Nov. 8, at 7 p.m. in room 115 of Sacajawea Hall at the Lewis-Clark State College.

The talk, entitled "The Korean War & its Environmental Legacy: the green ribbon of Hope" is free and open to the public.

Brady will focus on the ecological and cultural significance of the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) separating North Korea and South Koran, and on the possibilities for improving relations between the two countries.

Brady's talk is sponsored by the LCSC Social Sciences Division and the Idaho Humanities Council.
