Refresh Leadership simulcast is May 18
The Lewis-Clark State College Business Division and Express Employment Professionals are sponsoring the Refresh Leadership live simulcast on May 18 at 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Williams Conference Center on the LCSC campus.
The conference will be shown on several screens set up around the WCC to enjoy a lineup of featured speakers who have built distinguished careers based on the principles of leadership.
The cost of the simulcast is $47.95 per person and registration and pre-payment are required.
Registration begins at 8-9 a.m. and there will be a welcome and introduction at 9 a.m. Ken Blanchard, author, speaker, and business consultant will then speak for 55 minutes on the challenges leaders face in keeping people focused, productive, and motivated to create an aligned organization that can move nimbly, yet boldly, toward the future.
Following a break, NFL quarterback Peyton Manning of the Indianapolis Colts will share some of the insights he has learned over the years about leadership, teamwork, and success – both on and off the field.
The final speaker is Walter Bond, a business expert, broadcaster and former professional basketball player with the Utah Jazz, Detroit Pistons, and Dallas Mavericks. He will discuss how important attitude can be to an organization and show how to eliminate “stinking thinking” that prevents people from perceiving and using every situation to their advantage.
