Comedian Verkataramanujam to perform at LCSC on Oct. 12
Comedian Prashanth Verkataramanujam will perform at Lewis-Clark State College on Oct. 12 at 8 p.m. at the Williams Conference Center.
Venkataramanujam is a comedian and actor originally from Chicago who began his career at the age of 17. After quickly rising through the ranks in Chicago, he started performing at world renowned clubs like Zanies, the Improv, Gotham Comedy Club, and The Comic Strip.
In 2008, Prashanth graduated from the highly acclaimed Stella Adler Acting Studio in New York City and was a regional winner at the Rooftop College Comedy Competition. His work on the road has afforded him the privilege of working with comedians that include the late Robert Schimmel, Mark Curry, Rocky LaPorte, Joe Piscopo, and Donnell Rawlings from the Chappelle Show.
His performance on the campus of Lewis-Clark State College is free to LCSC students and $2 for the general public. Tickets will be sold at the door. The event is sponsored by the Warrior Entertainment Board.
