First Book-LCSC to host Ronald McDonald reading event on Saturday

The Lewis-Clark State College First Book Advisory Board will host, "It`s Book Time with Ronald McDonald," at LCSC`s Student Union Building on Saturday, Nov. 5, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.

The event features a fun-filled performance by Ronald McDonald that teaches children, from kindergarten to third grade, the importance of reading and developing respect for books. The 45-minute show includes music, magic, and games that encourage children to set time every day for reading.

The show is free and open to the public, and all children ages 3-9 who attend the performance will receive a free book and goodie bag.

For more information about the event, First Book-LCSC, or how to volunteer, contact Shirrelle Matlock at 208-792-2084.
