LCSC Jazz Band will perform on Nov. 14 at LHS
The Lewis-Clark State College Jazz Band will perform a concert on Nov. 14, at 7:30 p.m. at the Lewiston High School Auditorium. The concert is free and open to the public
The concert will present traditional and contemporary Big Band Jazz from Count Basie, Spyro Gyra, and John Clayton. Featured vocalist Kathleen Gemberling will perform music by Michael Buble, Kurt Weill, and Ann Ronell.
The LCSC Jazz Band is a nine-time winner of Outstanding Band Awards in the Open Division of the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival. The band comprises student and community membership, and features soloists from within the band.
