LCSC Resource Fair to be held on Jan. 5

The Lewis-Clark State College Resource Fair; an event which offers resources and information to those thinking about going to school and also provides a look at potential job opportunities in the area; will be held on Jan. 5 at the LCSC Williams Conference Center.

The event is free and open to the public and will run from 1-7 p.m. Representatives from the college as well as a number of local businesses and organizations will be on hand.

LCSC offices with representatives at the Fair will include New Student Recruitment, Financial Aid, Admission/Registrar, Distance Learning (online courses/degrees), Learning Resource Center (Professional/Technical Programs), Adult Learning Center (GED), and Workforce Training. Personnel from Student Services will also be in attendance and will offer breakout sessions to help people with the college admissions process from 2-3 p.m. and from 5-6 p.m.

Businesses and organizations present will include the Department of Labor, Edward Jones, Integrated Personnel, AmeriCorps, Regence, Schweitzer, Wells Fargo Bank, Consumer Credit Counseling, and Voc-Rehab of Lewiston.

Representatives from the Idaho Small Business Development Center will also be on hand and will hold a special presentation starting at 3 p.m.
