Lewiston campus will remain closed on Thursday
Due to inclement weather and hazardous road conditions, the Lewis-Clark State College Lewiston campus will be closed Thursday, Jan. 19, college officials have announced.
The decision to suspend operations was made as a result of continued snowfall across the region and forecasts by the National Weather Service indicating that heavy snow may continue in the LC Valley and surrounding areas Wednesday night and throughout Thursday.
LCSC's decision follows announcements by neighboring institutions, the University of Idaho and Washington State University, to also halt operations on Thursday.
LCSC expects to be open on Friday, Jan. 20, however, students and employees are encouraged to visit www.lcsc.edu to check for the latest updates.
The Lewiston campus was closed at noon on Wednesday because of heavy snow throughout the morning and the closure of other local institutions.
