LCSC Mobile launched

LEWISTON, Idaho - Lewis-Clark State College is going mobile. Mobile device users can now download the new app, LCSC Mobile, and stay connected with the college wherever they are.

The new mobile application is the result of a project developed by LCSC Community Programs Distance Learning Course Management.

With LCSC Mobile you can find out how to get around campus, take a look at currently offered courses, browse through the library's online resources, and more. Project Manager Jesse Snyder describes it as "LCSC in the palm of your hand."

The features include: maps; browsing and searching the course catalog, viewing class times, locations and more; searching the public directory for students, faculty, staff and administrators; sending email, placing a call and saving contact information right to your phone's address book; browsing the complete LCSC online library catalog, checking item availability, and even contacting a librarian while on the go; accessing important numbers when you need them, calling to report an emergency or get information from the LCSC Campus Emergency Information line.

The app works on Android and iOS platforms and soon will be compatible with all the other smartphone devices. It can be downloaded at iTunes Store or Google Play Store.
