LEWISTON, Idaho - Four Lewis-Clark State College Technical and Industrial Division students are headed to Kansas City, Missouri later this month to compete in the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference.

Students in five programs in the T&I Division competed in Boise in April at the state SkillsUSA collegiate contest. Members in four of the five teams won gold medals. Other members won five silvers and four bronze medals. The gold medal winners will travel to Kansas City for the conference taking place June 23 - 27.

Macaulay Hankins will represent the Collision Repair team; Reina Fujimoto and Caleb Ostheller will represent the Automated Manufacturing team; and Cody Hendrickx is representing the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning team.

"This says everything about the quality of education we offer in the T&I division at LCSC," said Dr. Tim Wiggins, chair of the Technical and Industrial Division.
