Media Services

Media Services provides video and audio production and photographic services to the campus community. Video production services include studio and field production, shooting sports highlights, editing, media duplication, and producing and operating equipment for live video streaming of campus events, including the Avista-NAIA World Series and State Board of Education meetings.  As part of an agreement with the City of Lewiston, Media Services operates the public access channel (SPCTV Channel 13 on CableOne) and live broadcasts of City Council and Planning and Zoning Commission meetings. Media Services also offers photographic services to the campus community - in the studio, on location, and off-campus.  Media Services produces LCSC's public information program LCSC Connections, hosted by President Tony Fernández, as well as the City of Lewiston program City Beat.

What video formats do you work with? 

Multiple HD file formats, Blu-ray, DVD, DVCAM, MINI-DV, VHS, S-VHS, and ¾” SP.

Can I edit my own video?

Editing facilities are only available to Media Services staff or LCSC students, faculty, & staff under the supervision of Media Services.

What if my camcorder is Hi 8, Digital 8mm or some other older format?

You will need to bring in your camcorder and transfer to a compatible format.

How do I get an announcement on the SPCTV Channel 13 readerboard?

Channel 13 provides a free service to the local community for promoting and advertising a variety of announcements, including upcoming events. Contact Media Services at 792-2392 or or bring your announcement to the LCSC Library Building, Room 161.
