THE RACES

Duathlon: 2 mile run, 12 mile bike and 2 mile run. The entire course is on the Lewiston levees and Tammany Creek Road, which is entirely asphalt, so both road and mountain bikes are welcome. The bike portion is an out and back with a gradual climb on the way out.

4-Mile Run: Out and back on the Lewiston Levees.

RULES:

Variable Time Penalties and potential disqualification will be administered in the event of violation(s) of the following race rules.

Helmets are required.
No Drafting.
No headphones.
No assistance.
15 mph speed limit and no passing zone on return of bike once entering the park.

CASH PRIZES:

$25.00 to overall Male and/or Female Duathlon winner(s) for beating Course Record.
$35.00 to overall Team Category if they better Course Record.
$15.00 to overall Male and/or Female 4-mile run winner(s) for beating Course Record.

PARKING:

Hell’s Gate is an Idaho State Park and will be charging a reduced parking fee of $1.00 per vehicle.
