The minutes from
the September 25, 2001 meeting were approved.
Laura Moyer

in February to benefit CSO. The items
for auction will be set up in a booth in the SUB during the day. Laura will keep us posted as the final plans
are made. The committee has also
discussed having a flea market in April or May.
Janell Miller

divisions of the need for donations. The deadline to accept donations has been extended until December
14, 2001.
Dawn Byers
highlighted the Campus Holiday party that will be held on December 7 at the
Williams Conference Center and SUB. The
Big Newtons will be performing for your dancing and listening pleasure. No host bars will be set up at Campus Corner
and President Thomas’s house for a pre-function social. At this point 236 people have returned their
RSVP cards.
Karen thanked the CSO members that attended the Track 2 meetings for the Strategic Planning Process. Many ideas were brought forth during the meetings addressing ways to reduce costs in the budget. The group’s main focus was to protect classified staff positions. The following are some of the ideas that came from the meetings: create classified staff pool, change work week to four 10-hour days or four 9-hour days and four hours on Fridays, consolidate counseling services, review current student fees. Karen will send out a draft proposal for review by CSO members before the final is sent to the President.
Barbara Syska was introduced to the group. She is the Program Assistant in Idaho Trio AmeriCorps office.
Judy Dingman reminded everyone that the Warriorientation would be held on January 11, 2002 for all new students.
Mark your calendars with the dates and times of the CSO meetings for the rest of the year: February 13, 3 p.m. Clearwater room; and April 18, 3 p.m. Clearwater room.
Respectfully submitted,
