You Work Here?Text Box: Name: Janet Wetmore Department: Education Division Position: Administrative Assistant I Text Box: What I do I am the administrative assistant for the Education Division which means I am a jack of all trades and master of none! I process a lot of paperwork, try to answer a lot of program questions, and try to connect students with faculty. In between, I sort mail, answer the phone (which seems to ring about an average of 6-7 hours a day), make photo copies with a machine that likes to jam ( I found out that I am a pretty good at repair), see that everyone gets a paycheck & reimbursements, and make travel arrangements in Text Box: hopes that I sent the right person to the right place at the right time. Lunch is a reprieve and my husband is beginning to wonder if I still live at home. Hobbies/Items of Interest Current hobby is work.  In the past I had a few hobbies but it has been so long that I can’t hardly remember.  But I will take a shot at it....I have sewn a lot when my children were little.  Halloween costumes were my favorite...they were so cute!   When I first got married I got into four-wheeling which is a blast!  Of course you really need to pay attention to where you are going, rocks like to Text Box: divert you and trees don’t move!   Since my mom crochets, I have tried it but always seem to lay it down for years before I pick it up again.  I can pick out a tune on a piano but you could not call me a player.  I have done some gardening but I usually get more weeds than actual product.  I do go fishing with my husband on our boat.  I can fish (he has to put on  the worm..yuk!) but I can’t drive the boat.  I guess he did not like going around in circles that much.   As far as my interests, I just want to do my job to the best of my ability, make and keep good friends, and enjoy the life God has so graciously given me.
