My name is Jesse and I am from Brazil. Being born in Brazil, I worked for corporations in diverse capacities in the areas of Marketing, Media, Executive Communications, Human Resource Management, and Public Relations.

Being born in Brazil, and facing situations such as: hyperinflation, exorbitant gas prices, national debt, energy alternatives, economic downturns, and huge unemployment rates, gave me knowledge of how to deal with business environments from a different perspective. I learned to face the situations, tackle whatever challenges come my way and view obstacles as opportunities in disguise.

In August of 1997 I moved to U.S. Since then I worked for several corporations in the areas of Management and Production Operations. These opportunities have given me the chance to experience the American workplace. At the same time, I finished a Master degree in International Business in order to improve my education.

Now I’m looking forward to exploring the challenges ahead to improve my career as a teacher.

I’m passionate about education because I’m a constant learner myself and a witness of how the education and training make the difference for each individual and their specific needs. It is my desire, as an educator, to help students by providing an environment that is safe, supports risk-taking, and invites a sharing of ideas in order to gain experience and become capable of solving complex business, social and economic issues.

It is my goal to make a liaison with my professional experience to make the difference in the lives of students and organizations.
