My background in Child Development and Family relations includes a B.S and M.S. from the University of Idaho. I have had the priviledge to work with children and families, in one respect or another, for over 17 years. I was able to work for several years on a pilot project for the University of Idaho Parents as Teachers Program. Through this program we provided monthly home visits to parents throughout the State of Idaho.

I have also worked as a teacher of a 3-5 year-old ECEAP classroom with the Lewis-Clark Early Childhood Program, then a Child Care Coordinator with the school district at Tammany Alternative Center. I have taught many workshops through Community Action Partnership, the United Way, McSorley Elementary, and IdahoSTARS on topics ranging from Kindergarten Readiness to Strengthening Families.

I have been teaching Early Childhood Education with Lewis-Clark Stae college for 6 yearsand look forward to continuing to provide students wiht a well-rounded knowledge of the importance of being an Early Childhood Professional.
