Course Description:

Theory and practice to facilitate basic competency in public speaking through a variety of types of "one-to-many" speaking situations: banquets, panels and forums, sales presentations, special public ceremonies, political action meetings.  Students must have access to a video camera and must videotape three live speeches in front of a live audience.

Minimum Computer Requirements:

Win 2000/XP/VISTA or Mac OSX Pentium/G3 1Ghz w/ 2.0 GB RAM
High Speed Internet Access Recommended*
Internet Explorer 7x (Recommended) or Firefox 2.0.0.16 (Safari recommended for Mac)
Current Java runtime environment for Windows or OSX (java.com)

*Course access via 56K modem or other form of dial up is not recommended and any connectivity problems due to this type of connection are not supported by Lewis-Clark State College.

On-line discussions may be required during this course. The LCMail account and BbCE course mail are the only accounts that will be used to contact students regarding online courses.
