Course Description: |
|
This BbCE course will
familiarize the student with the broad subject of education for
gifted and talented (GT) students. The course, designed to be
completed on an individual study basis, is appropriate for parents,
home schoolers, and classroom teachers. It is an
activity-based course and includes fourteen lessons that correspond
to the textbook chapters. Students will complete an assigned
activity in each lesson and correlate the activity to the Idaho
Standards for Gifted and Talented Education so that students'
performance and products in this course serve as evidence of their
attainment of the standards. Occasionally students will be
asked to make contributions to a bulletin board discussion.
This is the entry course for the sequence of courses offered by LCSC
that lead to GT endorsement. |
