Course Description:

Generic journal-based computerized accounting for service and merchandising business formed as sole proprietorships, partnerships, and corporations.  Concepts covered include the accounting cycle, bank reconciliation, voucher systems, budgeting, purchase orders, sales orders, inventory, fixed assets, payroll, financial statement analysis, and departmentalized accounting.  Additional projects focus on integrating the accounting information with word processing and spreadsheet software.  Pre-requisite: ACCPT 101, ACCPT 102, CITPT 110 or equivalent.

Minimum Computer Requirements:

Win 2000/XP/VISTA or Mac OSX Pentium/G3 1Ghz w/ 2.0 GB RAM
High Speed Internet Access Recommended*
Internet Explorer 7x (Recommended) or Firefox 2.0.0.16 (Safari recommended for Mac)
Current Java runtime environment for Windows or OSX (java.com)
