Course Description:

An introduction to the theory of assessment.  This course presents the foundational concepts, principles, and procedures needed to systematically acquire, organize, and apply information about learners and learning.  This course also serves as a component in the elementary and secondary teacher education programs' technology strand and is designated technology-intensive.  Prerequisite:  Elementary Education Majors must be admitted to the teacher education program: secondary certification candidates must have completed ED 214.
