Course Description: |

Required for
admittance to the Elementary Education program. The course is an
overview of the mathematics taught in grades K-8. Topics include
percents, probability, statistics, geometry, and measurement.
Skills and cognitive understanding are stressed.
Pre-requisite: Grade of "C" or better in MATH 157 or instructor
permission. |

get into your CourseCompass course, you must complete an
easy, one-time registration and enrollment process.
Before you
start, you will need:

from your instructor (yeoman56196)

Student access
code –
you can purchase just the MyMathLab packet or the
text/packet combo from the LCSC bookstore
or you can purchase access online using a credit card. If you
already have the text, you need only to purchase the
MyMathLab access packet.

Valid e-mail address
that you check on a regular basis (your LC Mail)
To register
and enroll in the Math 257-60 CourseCompass course:
1. Go to
www.coursecompass.com,
and click the
Register
button in the Students area.
2.
Follow the on-screen
instructions to register and enroll, or click
Student Registration Instructions
for a copy of
step-by-step instructions.
Registration and enrollments requires
you to:

enter your student
access code and your instructor's
course ID(listed
above)
·
provide contact information
·
create a login name and password.
If you do not have a student access code, you can
purchase access online
from CourseCompass using a
credit card and your instructor's course ID.

On-line discussions may be required during this course. The
LC Mail account and BbCE course mail are the only accounts
that will be used to contact students regarding online
courses. An LC Mail account is automatically assigned to
students when they enroll. Access to this email account is
found at http://lcmail.lcsc.edu. BbCE course mail is enabled
when a student is enrolled in a BbCE course. Access to BbCE
course mail is through each BbCE course. BbCE course mail is
an internal mail system only and cannot be accessed outside
of a BbCE course. Please check with your instructor to
determine the preferred method of contact.
